The Estonian Blood Service Information System (EVI)

The Estonian Blood Service Information System is well known in the world as the System to provide high quality in Blood Banking and as the first implementation in the world of the new international standard ISBT 128. In 2009 was developed and implemented Donors Portal connected to EVI.

The basic functionality of Blood Information System was completed at 1998 and after this supplemented the software continuously- significant improvements in EVI work processes on basis international trends, added the stem cell bank, efficient quality control, E-donor etc.

EVI is based on the international standard ISBT 128. The EVI using 100% of the Estonian Blood Transfusion Service – four blood centers, blood collection centers (including mobile), blood laboratories and blood banks.

EVI has a good international reputation, standardized workflow
and strong Gennet Laboratories expert supporting users.
