Hospital information system ESTER
Since 1998 developed ESTER full functionality is today used in 56% of the Estonian hospitals.
Functionally ESTER well developed, supported by a substantial part of the treatment process and treatment and diagnostic procedures are planned and prepared largely by electronic means.
The system is integrated with Estonian National E-Health Information System (since 2009, becoming the first full interfacing), Health Insurance Fund and Prescription Center, the Population
Registry, Health Image Bank (PACS), diagnostic and laboratory equipment, etc.
Today ESTER will be replaced with the most modern hospital information system HEDA.
